Child & Family Services
Child and Family Services programs ensure that families have the resources needed to deal with the effects of deep poverty and of disability. The Families Together program provides home visiting services to families including parenting education and supports and its Therapeutic Preschool prepares children with exposure to adverse childhood experiences with the tools for success in kindergarten and beyond. Our Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs provide families with the resources needed to make the best decisions for their children diagnosed with hearing loss by providing education, mentoring and role models for both parents and children. Child and Family Services helps approximately 1,500 children annually who are at risk of developmental delays and educational failure due to poverty, disability, and/or exposure to trauma/violence. Additionally, we provide over 3,600 children and adults therapeutic services and resources.
