Services for People Experiencing Poverty
Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP)
Lifetrack is a Hennepin County Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) employment service provider. Families with low-incomes living in Hennepin County who have been approved for MFIP can request Lifetrack as their employment service provider. At Lifetrack, we assist families with stabilizing all areas of their lives through meaningful employment. We help with accessing education and training opportunities, job search, applications, interview preparation, transportation, child care and much more! Our Lifetrack employment coaches also teach self-advocacy skills through our Lifetrack Achievement Zone philosophy.
Employment for Adults with a Criminal Conviction and a Disability
Lifetrack’s Employment for Adults with a Criminal Conviction and a Disability program is available to Hennepin County residents. Hennepin County workers in behavioral health, probation and mental health can refer individuals with both a criminal conviction and a disability to Lifetrack. We provide assistance in preparing these individuals to return to work, which can include mock interviews, learning how to complete online job applications, and learning how to discuss criminal convictions in an interview. We also work to ensure that participants have the documentation needed to return to work and are prepared to succeed at a job that fits their strengths.
